Family Pictures

Well we finally got some family pictures taken. Our friend Jenni took them for us and then helped me enhance them. She was amazing and she taught me so many things. She also made our Christmas cards which turned out absolutely perfect. Thank you so much Jenni, you are a miracle worker :)

HoLiDaYs....

Well we are turning the corner again on all of the holidays and I am not sure if I am quite ready for them. Once again we will be here for Thanksgiving and Christmas trying to make it as "normal" as possible but I must be completely honest the holidays are not "normal" unless you are surrounded by family. I thought for sure since we have already been through one holiday season by ourselves this one would be a cake walk....but what I wouldn't give to be home meeting my new nephew Dylan, playing in the snow in Wyoming and then hurrying inside to get warm by mom Fenus' fireplace. Helping put up mom and dad's Christmas decorations and lights and when it finally gets dark enough to go outside and see our hard work twinkling off of the snow. To go down to the elementary school for Turkey Bowl and then stuff ourselves until we are uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Letting London and Lahklyn play day and night in the snow with their cousins until they are so tired they all crash in front of the fireplace. To spend New Years Eve at mom and dads house having our big family party with all of the cousins, playing games, eating food and watching Dick Clark count down the new year. To go out Christmas shopping with my mom and hang out watching anything and everything on TV with my dad. I know....I shouldn't be complaining, we are living in paradise and I am sooooo blessed to have such an amazing "family" out here.....the friends that we have made have become our family.....I know that these feelings will go away and I will move on but for right now I miss my family....I miss my mom and dad.....and I miss being home for the holidays.

HaPpY hAlLoWeEn!!!

Here are a few pictures from our Halloween week. We had a blast but are all exhausted. Between the trunk or treat, pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving, school parade, fall carnival, clubhouse party and then trick or treating we are Halloweened out. London and I were witches and Justin and Lahklyn were our kitty cats :) It was great....I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Cakes, cakes everywhere....

Well I found a new hobby...CaKeS!!! I have successfully completed 2 fondant cakes now, so, what do you think? I am as beginner as they get but it is fun. The first one I did for Lahklyn's birthday, the car one was for our little friend Parker's birthday.

Look who turned 2...

Has 2 years really gone by? I cannot believe how ours lives have changed since she came into our family. Every day is filled with excitement and laughs when this little girl is around. Her nickname is the "fire ant" and for good reason. She is the craziest, busiest, funniest little bug I have ever seen. She is also extremely independent. She knows what she wants and she will do anything to get it. She loves everything about her big sister and tries to be just like her. And as for daddy....well she has him wrapped around her little finger. She lights up everyday when he comes home from the hospital. She loves him so much. She is such a light in our lives and we are so blessed to have her in our family. HaPPy BiRthDay SweEt AngEl....we love you more than you will ever know...

We had our own little family party for her on her birthday....

And then we had a huge 3 and under party just for little kids. We had it in the morning with muffins, fruit, chocolate milk and of course cake. They played with bubbles and danced to music. It was a blast.

Thanks everyone for making this day so special for her.

Where does the time go???

I can't believe we have been in Florida for a year now. Justin is now finished with the didactic part of his schooling and he has officially started his clinicals. He has 16 months left and then we are done. The summer flew by out here ever with the heat and the humidity. In September the girls and I were able to go home for 3 weeks. It was amazing!!! Although we were always on the move we had a blast. We went to St. George, Vegas, Wyoming and good ole' Springville. Justin had 10 days off at the end of our trip so he flew out and joined us for a bit. It was nice to have some time with him before he had to go back for his clinicals. Although I love the situation that we have here in Florida and the friends that we have made, going home just confirmed to me how important it is for us to try to be as close to family as we possibly can when this is all said and done. Thank you to everyone back home for making our little vacation so amazing and also Thank you to all of my friends back here in Florida that welcome us back with open arms. We are truly blessed!!!

We love when family comes into town...

For the past week and a half we have had lots of visitors. Justin's mom, sister Malona, her 2 girls Emry and Jersey, niece Carli and sister-in-law Cindi have all been chilling in Florida with us. Luckily Justin has had a bit of a break from school so we have all been able to do a ton of things. We have been so blessed to have so many friends and family members visit us since we have been out here, it has made the time go by really quickly. So all of you guys that are still out there that need a little time away you know where to come. Our door is always open and we love the company :)
